Length transducers
The length transducer measures the distance of a linear movement using a steel wire looped around a measuring wheel. The steel wire must be mounted at both ends with a fixed distance between them. It is typically used as a length sensor to measure drilling depth on drill rigs and is mounted on the cradle. The transducer has two connectors for CANopen communication, including power supply, and one connector with two digital inputs. Model 022736 has a built-in termination resistor, and therefore only one CANopen connector.
