Quality policy
Transtronic AB designs and manufactures equipment with the appropriate performance, and through continuous improvement, our management system is constantly developed to ensure compliance with the right quality and all relevant requirements.
Products or services are delivered on time according to the delivery schedule agreed upon with the customer.
Personnel policy
Every employee shall be familiar with the policies and objectives established by the company, understand their own role and area of responsibility, and have the authority, responsibility, and competence required for the task.
Department managers are responsible for personnel matters, including recruitment, development, and termination. Managers must conduct performance and salary reviews with their employees at least once a year. With the support of department managers, the CEO is responsible for ensuring that the personnel policy is implemented throughout the company.
Recruitment shall be systematic, goal-oriented, future-focused, and conducted at the appropriate level of competence. Competence development shall be encouraged, and internal mobility should be promoted and supported. Respect for the individual shall characterize our work environment, and our actions shall be based on openness, honesty, sound ethics, and gender equality.
By consistently complying with the laws and regulations that apply to employers in occupational health and safety matters, the physical, mental, and social work environment shall be ensured. Our salaries shall be individual, differentiated, market-adjusted, and performance-based.
Work environment policy
Transtronic actively strives toward a zero-accident vision regarding injuries as well as physical and mental health issues by:
- Systematically identifying, addressing, and following up on risks that may lead to accidents or ill health.
- Raising awareness of the importance of the work environment for employee well-being and the resulting profitability for Transtronic.
- Appointing/recruiting suitable personnel for each task within the company.
Environmental policy
Transtronic AB shall actively work to implement environmental improvements in our production, service, and logistics operations.
- In our work and in collaboration with suppliers and customers, we shall strive to choose the best environmental alternatives combined with optimal function and cost-efficiency for our products and services.
- We shall at a minimum comply with current laws and regulations and apply the precautionary principle in cases where formal directives are lacking.
- Our operations shall be consciously guided by a life-cycle perspective, covering everything from material selection to reuse, recycling, and minimizing environmentally harmful substances and waste.
- Investments in emission reduction measures shall be prioritized over climate offsetting.
- All electricity purchased by Transtronic AB (beyond self-produced energy) shall be renewable (“Green” energy).
- We actively train and motivate our employees to engage in increased environmental responsibility.
- By developing products that help optimize our customers’ processes, we contribute to reduced environmental impact.
- Transtronic AB provides charging facilities for employees with electric vehicles to promote sustainable development.
- Business travel is climate-compensated.
Conflict minerals policy
Transtronic i Köping AB is committed to ensuring the health, safety, and protection of individuals who may come into contact with our products or services. As a company, we place high demands on social, environmental, and human rights compliance—both for our own employees and for our suppliers.
Managing our responsibilities related to Conflict Minerals is a part of this commitment.
Transtronic i Köping AB is committed to:
- Identifying which of our products are affected by conflict minerals and tailoring our efforts accordingly.
- Not purchasing products or materials containing conflict minerals directly from conflict mines.
- Working with our suppliers to ensure that any conflict minerals present in products or materials supplied to Transtronic i Köping AB originate from conflict-free sources.
- Contributing to conflict-free trade by encouraging our suppliers not to discriminate against legitimate sources of conflict minerals.
- Complying with regulations issued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Act and supporting industry initiatives such as the Conflict-Free Smelter Program (CFS).
