When do we store your information?
If you contact us via phone or our website and we consider the contact information to be relevant, we will retain it. This is based on legitimate interest. In addition, we naturally store information if you are or have been a customer with us, within a reasonable period of time.
General GDPR Information
As of May 25, 2018, Transtronic AB complies with the European General Data Protection Regulation EU 2016/679 (GDPR). This regulation replaces previous Swedish legislation: the Personal Data Act (PuL 1998:204).
We aim to provide our customers with the best possible service, while also complying with the requirements of the GDPR and other applicable laws. Below you will find information about which personal data Transtronic AB processes, how we protect that data, and your rights under the GDPR.
Transtronic AB processes personal data in various ways. The list below outlines the legal basis we rely on under the GDPR for each type of processing:
- We process personal data in order to contact you as an existing customer.
- To contact you regarding our services, we use address details obtained via the contact form on our website. This processing is based on legitimate interest.
Basic Principles for the Handling of Personal Data:
- We comply with the regulation and ensure that your rights are upheld. We can also demonstrate our compliance.
- Your data is protected by confidentiality and internal rules for the employees who handle it.
- We do not contact individuals under the age of 16 without parental or guardian consent.
- Personal data we process is never shared for purposes other than those we have specified and informed you about.
- We do not store more information than necessary or for longer than needed. All data is deleted routinely once it is no longer in use.
- All processing of personal data is documented, including the purpose and scope.
- Only employees who need access to your personal data to perform their duties are granted access.
- If personal data is accidentally disclosed, destroyed, or altered, both the affected individuals and the Data Protection Authority are notified with a description of the incident and the actions taken to resolve it.
If your personal data is stored in our records, you have the right to the following:
- To receive clear information from us, for example when you give consent for the processing of personal data.
- To request a record showing what data we process about you. This record, which is free of charge, can be provided verbally, electronically, or in paper form. We will respond within 30 days.
- If it turns out that the information we hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, we will correct it.
- You may also request that we stop a specific type of processing, such as sending you mailings. However, this may not always be possible if other interests take precedence.
